Wanstead
Our Lady Of Lourdes
Two Manual, 18 stop
The largest organ so far to come out of the Jennings stable, this instrument is situated on the west end gallery of a Catholic church built in the 1920s in Wanstead, East London.
It incorporates an efficient swell box with two reeds, 16ft Fagotto and 8ft Trumpet, which are both accessible on the pedals.
The organ was finished in December 2010 in time for the Christmas festivities. In march 2011 Geoffrey Morgan of Chistchurch Priory, Dorset, England gave a very successful opening recital in which he showed off its versatility.
