Keyed Glockenspiel

Based on its smaller cousin made for John Eliot Gardiner’s production of The Magic Flute, it was a huge honour to make this slightly larger model for the most famous opera house in the world.  With a case of cherry wood and with boxwood and ebony key coverings the action is based on a Viennese  fortepiano action of Mozart’s time.
