Double Manual Harpsichord
The Sultan of Oman
This particular instrument was made for the Sultan of Oman to be housed in the Bait Al Barakah Auditorium.
An historical copy of a double manual harpsichord by Michael Mietke made around 1700, the original now residing at Schloss Charlottenburg, near Berlin.
Finished in black lacquer with a gold and bronze Arabic chinoiserie style scene.
Made in conjuction with London based harpsichord maker Andrew Wooderson.
